For all those lovers of the strange and wonderful instrument that is the bass trombone, the 2008 Dutch Bass Trombone Open will be taking place this September.

Great exponents

The event will feature great exponents of the instruiment such as Mark Frost, Douglas Yeo, Phil Teel and Ben van Dijk.

Players can apply to be part of it all too, with plenty of masterclasses, workshops and concerts all taking place.
