Down to 8 players

Only 18 months ago the band were down to 8 players but under the direction of David Cutting and the commitment and enthusiasm of the players, they have resurrected itself to competition standard and are looking forward to taking centre stage.

Raring to go

Band Secretary Helen Cutting told 4BR: "The band playing really well and we are all very excited about playing at this competition. We have had a few setbacks leading up to it but we have overcome these and are raring to go and let everyone know Pleasley Band is back. In addition the band will be celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, so its an exciting time for the band all round."
