Liaison person from BBANZ was Owen Melhuish who was delighted to introduce Meredith to the meeting.

Win/win

“We are delighted to announce that Scenic Circle Hotels will extend the current sponsorship of the Band of the Year event for another three years from 2009 to 2011 for an increased amount, for what we consider is a win/win sponsorship for Brass Bands and our company.” said Meredith.

Negotiations have now been finalised and we are very pleased to continue the mutually beneficial arrangement with Scenic Circle Hotels.BBANZ President, Dianne Smeehuyzen

Scenic Circle Hotels have also assisted the National Brass Band of New Zealand management in their recent tour and have a great arrangement with the 2008 Festival of Brass committee in Christchurch next year.

“Negotiations have now been finalised and we are very pleased to continue the mutually beneficial arrangement with Scenic Circle Hotels.” said BBANZ President Dianne Smeehuyzen.

Great rates

Speaking to The Mouthpiece Owen Melhuish said, “We hope that Brass Bands continue to use the great rates available to groups and individuals at corporate rates for all Scenic Circle Hotel venues nationwide and also remind Bands to ensure they consider Scenic Circle Hotels for future contests in Christchurch, Napier and Dunedin.”
