Wire to host regional preview

Bactiguard Wire Brass is set to hold a regional preview at the end of the month in all sections.

Bactiguard Wire Brass is hosting a regional contest preview evening on Friday 29th February.

The concert will feature this year's test pieces performed by bands competing in the North West area championships in Blackpool on the 9th March. Each band will play a short programme including their area test piece.

Line up

The line up is as follows: Parr Band performing 'Four Cities Symphony' by Rodney Newton, Flixton Band performing 'The Dark Side of the Moon' by Paul Lovatt-Cooper, Old Hall Brass playing 'Three Part Invention' by Kenneth Downie, and Bactiguard Wire Brass will be playing 'Festival Music' by Eric Ball.

First Section needed

Wire are however short of a first section band so if anyone is interested in completing the line up please contact them. (see below)

Free of charge

The concert is free of charge (but places are limited) and will take place at Barrow Hall Theatre, Great Sankey High School, Barrow Hall Lane, Warrington WA5 3AA on Friday 29th February, starting 7.30pm.
