South Yorkshire Police head the prize winners at Derby on the weekend.

The North East Midlands Brass Band Association Annual Contest took place at the Rolls-Royce Pavilion in Derby on the weekend, where despite a number of bands dropping out there was still a fine event to be enjoyed.

Adjudicators Colin Hardy and Satn Lippeatt had plenty to enjoy.
