After the success of their first CD with trombone soloist Brett Baker, Fuoco Brass, a composite band consisting of 28 avid, young Salvation Army bandsmen have released their second CD “Badinage”.
Featuring tuba soloist Leslie Neish, the CD is a mix of Salvation Army music, secular music and features Les playing five solos, including Kevin Norbury’s 'Badinage'.

Great work
Commenting on the CD project, Musical Director Jonathan Corry told 4BR: "It was a great weekend of recording. The players did extremely well travelling many miles from all over the UK, as far as Scotland and Northern Ireland to play in the band at the recording.
It was great to work with my good friend Les Neish too. We go back many years after first meeting at the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain some nine years ago and it was always my plan to feature Les on a disc. His musical contribution to the CD is excellent.”
The CD will be available on 4BR in the next few days.
