Everybody needs good neighbours...

Fancy doing your bit to help Channel 5 celebrate the capture of the Aussie soap from the Beeb?

Neighbours

With the heart breaking news that the BBC has lost 'Neighbours' to Channel 5 later this year, the new home for the Aussie soap has decided to celebrate their capture of the iconic programme by asking for 300 + brass musicians to take part in a press launch in Trafalgar Square on the 7th February.

Harold Bishop

There they hope that the assembled masses will play a rendition of the ‘Neighbours’ theme tune with Harold Bishop from the show!

The organisers have told 4BR that they will provide all transport to and from London and will also provide lunch for everybody.

It's a perfect opportunity to see the sights in London, meet various other brass players from around the country and be part of an exciting event in Trafalgar Square!,"Cake Promotions

Perfect opportunity

"It's a perfect opportunity to see the sights in London, meet various other brass players from around the country and be part of an exciting event in Trafalgar Square!," they told 4BR.

So if you are a fan or even someone who feels that one of the totems of Australian opular cutlure needs to benefit from a little bit of self promotion then you need to be at Trafalgar Square for approximately 10-2pm. This is including a rehearsal and the actual press launch.
