The organisers of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain have confirmed the dates for each of its 2027 qualification events.
North West followed by Yorkshire
It will see the traditional weekend opener in Blackpool with competitors heading to the North West Regional Championships at the Winter Gardens on Sunday 28th February.
The following weekend the focus will be on Huddersfield Town Hall, as the Yorkshire Regional Championships take place on the 6th & 7th March.
Scotland, Wales and West
The domestic battles for supremacy in Scotland and Wales (as well as European qualification in the Championship Section) takes place at Perth Concert Hall and the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea on the weekend 13th & 14th March.
The West of England Regional Championships also complete a busy weekend at Torquay's Riviera Centre and local Upton Vale Baptist Church.
Final weekend
The final weekend (20th & 21st March) also sees a trio of events as bands compete at Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre at the London & Southern Counties Regional Championships, at Bedworth Civic Hall and United Church Theatre at the Midlands Regional Championships and the Gala Theatre in Durham for the North of England Regional Championships.
