The UniBrass Foundation has announced that its 2027 UniBrass Championships will be held at The Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities in Oxford on Saturday 20th February.

It is hoped that the event will see over 25 university brass bands perform in either the Unibrass Shield and Trophy contests at the acclaimed arts and humanities centre which opened in 2025.

Thrilled

In announcing the news, James McQueen, Chairperson of the UniBrass 2027 organising committee stated: 'We're absolutely thrilled to be welcoming UniBrass to Oxford this year. Having the opportunity to host the contest in our new world-class arts venue is extremely exciting.

We can't wait for the bands to enjoy performing there. It's shaping up to be a fantastic celebration of brass music for young people."
