The opportunity to once again hear the live performances from both the Royal Albert Hall and York Barbican National Finals has certainly proved popular.

It has meant that there has been a boost in numbers of people signing up to the www.Wobplay.com recording platform to replay not only the winning performances from Cory, Marsden Silver, Harborough, Allerton brass and Wardle Community, but also from the 89 other competing bands.

Thrilled

"We are thrilled by the response and by the kind comments people have made about the quality of the recordings made by World of Sound at both York and London,"MD Nicki Tonge told 4BR.

"It was also great to be able to provide the bands at York with the opportunity to have their performances video recorded and then be interviewed and talk about their National Finals experience straight after they came off stage.

We are always looking to provide the brass band world with a product that reflects their passion, talent and excellence and the response to that since these major events has given us a huge boost."

Siddis and Brass in Concert

World of Sound will now head to Stavanger next month to provide comprehensive coverage of the Siddis Entertainment Championships (7th November) before heading to Gateshead for the sold-out Brass in Concert Championships on the weekend of the 14th & 15th November.
