Easington Colliery Band has extended a warm welcome to latest signing Bob Stradling.

Bob has been no stranger to the band over time and has covered a number of roles this year alone. An experienced musician and multi-instrumentalist he has provided cover on euphonium, baritone, horn and cornet at both contests and concerts during 2026.

MD Graeme Tindall told 4BR: "Bob is a valuable addition to our team. With a 'can do' attitude and also being a fantastic musician, he brings a new dimension to us and is the ultimate 'Super Dep'!".
