BBCA leads soundtrack insight

The seats are full up for the Brass Band Conductors Association's latest webinar that looks at how to put on a successful film night with brass band accompaniment.

The Brass Band Conductors Association will host a special on-line webinar this evening (Tuesday 14th July) at 7.00pm.

Entitled 'Showcasing Live Soundtrack Performances' it will be hosted by conductors Ben Palmer and James Garlick and will look at the issues and practical challenges to putting on a live brass band soundtrack performance — such as a 'Wallace & Gromit' film or 'The Snowman'.

Insight

Both will share their insights and experiences and will be open to questions over the hour and half zoom webinar. Registration for the event is now closed.

Ben Palmer is one of the world's foremost film-with-orchestra and film music conductors, whilst James is a highly respected brass band conductor with extensive professional playing experience.

This session will be recorded and made available to BBCA members following the session.
