Additional works and material will be filmed in the Autumn and will be available for viewing before the end of 2026.

Looking forward

Band Chairperson, Andrew Read told 4BR: "We are really looking forward to capturing these works, and telling the story in music of 90 years of City of Bristol Band linked to wider changes in experienced in our home city.

We're indebted to those who have made this possible, and delighted that our Community Band will be joining us for one of the sessions this weekend — reflecting the band's investment in youth and the future."

4BR was informed that a second 90th anniversary commissioning project is also in the pipeline.
