Composer Andrew Wainwright, whose 'Beyond the Falls — The Smoke that Thunders' will be heard at the First Section National Final in York in September, has revealed more about the work as well his compositional life in a recent interview with 'The Brass Hog' website.

Not only does he talk about the work's personal inspiration, but also reveals more about 'Variations on Was Lebet' which was used earlier this year at the Regional Championships.
