Trombone Day
The Trombone Day takes place at the Mark Hillery Arts Centre in Durham

The British Trombone Society will present a North East Trombone Day on Sunday May 10th at Collingwood College in Durham

The event kicks off at 11.00am and is open to BTS and non-BTS members and will take place in the Mark Hillery Arts Centre (DH1 3LT).

Relaxed and fun

The organisers have told 4BR that it promises to be a relaxed, fun day of music making including workshops, recitals and a massed blow for all participants with treble and bass clef readers catered for.

Guest artists include Ian Sankey who regularly plays for the Royal Northern Sinfonia as well as the Cory Band Trombone Ensemble led by Dr. Brett Baker. Jazz trombonist Kevin Holbrough will also lead players through his specialized world of music making.
