The line-up of competing bands that will take part in the 49th Brass in Concert Championship and Youth Brass in Concert Championship has been announced.
The events will be held over the weekend of Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in association with principal partner World of Brass and headline sponsors Yamaha and Banks Group.
Brass in Concert
Saturday's 49th Brass in Concert Championship will see 11 bands take part — led by defending champion, the cooperation band. Joining them are former winners Brighouse & Rastrick, Cory and Foden's, alongside Aldbourne, Flowers, GUS Band and Tredegar.
The event once again welcomes the Norwegian SIDDIS representatives in debutants Tertnes, whilst there are welcome returns for Yorkshire Area Champion Hepworth, for the first time since 2008, and National Champion Desford, for their first appearance since 2009.

Tickets for the weekend go on sale from noon on Wednesday 8th July, via The Glasshouse website. Prices are £45 or £35 + booking fee, whilst Youth Brass in Concert will be £13 for adults, £5 for U18s, and free for under 5s.
Youth Brass in Concert Championships
Building on its popularity since its return in 2024 the 6th Youth Brass in Concert Championship takes place the following day (Sunday 15th November).
Eight outstanding youth bands will showcase their talents, led by defending champion Wardle Academy Youth Band, alongside recently crowned National Champion, Youth Brass 2000, Elland Youth, Houghton Area Youth Brass, Lancashire Youth Brass, Lions Youth Band and Shepherd Youth Band.
Hampshire County Youth Band will make their debut after finishing third in the Yamaha Championship Section of this year's National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

Draw
The draw for both events will take place at this year's European Championships in Linz, which will be live-streamed by World of Brass, alongside the Brass in Concert Championships themselves later in the year.
