Brass in Concert champion, the cooperation band has announced new additions to its Board of Trustees.

Commitment

Led by Band President Olav Skar (above), the band welcomes John Miller, Allan Ramsay and Steven Craig as it looks to reinforce its position as Scottish Ambassadors for the Arts as well as reaffirming its commitment to long-term sustainability and artistic excellence.

John Miller is an acclaimed performer and educator now based at the RNCM in Manchester, whilst Allan Ramsay has a distinguished association with the band stretching back many years, as has Steven Craig.

Welcome

In welcoming the new additions to the cooperation team, Olav Skar said: "As Scottish Ambassadors for the Arts, we carry both a responsibility and a privilege.

Strengthening our Board with individuals of such experience, commitment, and passion ensures that The Cooperation Band will continue to thrive artistically while securing a strong and sustainable future."

The expanded Board of Trustees marks an important step in the band's continued development, underlining its dedication to excellence, cultural leadership, and the advancement of the arts in Scotland."
