Wright & Round: Castell Beaumaris (Andy Wareham)

A new homage addition to the iconic castle marches of the great T.J. Powell from the pen of Andy Wareham.

Castell Beaumaris
Castell Beaumaris is a march that pays homage to the iconic series of T.J. Powell

Music publishers Wright & Round is one of the oldest and most respected brass band music publishers in the world.

Established in 1875, they have a remarkable catalogue of compositions — from original works by William Rimmer and George Hawkins, to latest releases, as well as the iconic 120 Hymns publications — the 'red hymn books', arranged by Ray Steadman-Allen.

New and established composers

In recent years it has supported new and established compositional talent through its Music Editor Philip Harper, whose own arrangements are sold around the globe, as well as many other well-known composers and arrangers such as Liz Lane, Paul Lovatt-Cooper, Tom Davoren and Ray Farr.

Wright & Round is now delighted to offer direct access to its catalogue through 4Barsrest, with regular updates on new and exciting releases that are just a couple of mouse-clicks away from being purchased and sent directly to your band to perform.

Castell Beaumaris (Andy Wareham)

This traditional style concert march pays homage to the iconic series of 'Castle' marches written by the Welsh composer T.J. Powell such as 'Castell Coch' and 'Castell Caerphilli'

'Castell Beaumaris' was the winner of the Anglesey Eisteddfod (Eisteddfod Môn) composition competition, sponsored by Seindorf Beaumaris Band and is a rousing, but easily accessible march suitable for band of Second Section standard and above.
