A concert in aid of raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society is to be held at Regent Hall in London in March.
Sponsored by BrookWright Music it will feature Grimethorpe Colliery Band alongside singer Charlie Green on Saturday 28th March at 3.00pm, with all proceeds going to help the fight against the disease.
Music choices
Music has been specially written for the event by composer Andrew Wainwright, whilst a special appeal video will be presented by former BBC Washington Correspondent Nick Bryant.
Organiser Malcolm Quinn told 4BR: "This is a cause very close to the hearts and minds of so many families — including those in the banding world.
It promises to be a fantastic event and, anyone buying a ticket can request a single piece of SA Brass Music. Every request will be acknowledged on the screen, with the programme being chosen by Grimethorpe Colliery Band Musical Director Ben Dixon."
