Grimethorpe Colliery Band has announced a new corporate partnership with Groundhog UK Ltd.

It marks a new collaboration between the Yorkshire band and the mobile and static welfare accommodation manufacturer which has a long-standing commitment to community, charity, and local engagement.

Strengthen

Band Manager, Andy Kennedy told 4BR: "Grimethorpe Band are deeply passionate about our legacy of working in the community and supporting music education — and this innovative partnership with Groundhog UK Ltd will allow us to strengthen this commitment."

He added: "Groundhog's support strengthens the band's ability to continue this important work, and both organisations look forward to a partnership built on shared values in the years ahead."

The company stated on its website: "Groundhog support many local charities and sports teams and are now very excited to partner with Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

We are proud to support an organisation with such a strong community focus and heritage itself. Both parties have shared values of community, family and charity. Therefore, we feel this partnership will help with growth and sharing our values across the UK and beyond."

Groundhog UK Ltd currently supports Whizz Kidz, helping to raise funds to enable youngsters to gain access to wheelchairs, whilst support is also given to local football teams and racing teams.
