The Lydbrook Band has announced the tragic loss of their much admired euphonium player Thomas Pearse, who passed away on the 26th November.

The band stated: "Thomas was a bright and well-liked young man with an abundance of natural musical talent. As well as playing with Lydbrook, he was always happy to step in and help other bands across the Forest of Dean and South Wales.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his parents, Les and Marie, his sister, Gemma, and his family and friends at this very difficult time."
