Intense response to Area sections with Foden's

There is still time to get in some intensive 2026 Area sectional work with Foden's Band.

Fodens
The band is offering a chance to gain invaluable early Area insight

Foden's Band have told 4BR that they have been delighted by the response to their 'Intensive Sectional' initiative for players wishing to master their 2026 Regional Championships test-piece parts.

Set up during November to give players an early 'heads up' it sees Michael Fowles and principal players offer their insight and experience in open sessions focussing on each of the section regional works.

The cost of the sessions will be £30 per player, during which they will have the chance to talk to their tutors about any specific issues within the pieces, as well as any general brass playing questions to help them with their development.

Delighted

Band Manger Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "It seems everyone is already planning ahead for 2026 and we have been delighted at the response. The aim is to help and encourage, pinpoint challenges and hopefully help come up with the answers for players.

It's inclusive and supportive and hopefully will help bands in their efforts to qualify for the National Finals."
