Fresh from their top-six finish at the National Final at the Royal Albert Hall, the Hepworth Band has welcomed the signing of the experienced Dave Hebb as its new Solo Eb tuba player.

Career

His distinguished playing career has encompassed successful tenures at the likes of Grimethorpe and Carlton Main amongst others as well as a 24 year link with Brighouse & Rastrick. His return to Hepworth where he previously enjoyed a short spell has been welcomed by MD, Ryan Watkins.

He said: "I'm absolutely delighted to welcome Dave to Hepworth. He brings a wealth of experience and musicianship to the team and I'm really excited to work with him again as we look ahead to an exciting period for the band."

The band also took the opportunity to pass on its heartfelt thanks and best wishes to outgoing bass player Will Burton as he joins Grimethorpe Colliery Band.
