The newly crowned British Open Champion, Brighouse & Rastrick has announced the appointment Lucy Cutt as their new flugel horn player.

It is a welcome return to the West Riding band for the experienced player, having spent six years with them before embarking on a decade of music making with other leading bands, including Fairey and Desford.

Lucy also returned the band to play at the 2024 European Championships and will make her 'return debut' as the band look to make it a British Open/National Championship 'double' at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 11th October.
