The success of the recent Welsh Government's 'Wales in Japan 2025' campaign is to be celebrated at Senedd Cymru in Cardiff in July.
Ambassador
The initiative saw Tongwynlais Temperance Band act as a musical ambassador for the nation, spearheading a series of high profile concerts that embraced cultural and educational understanding by showcasing Wales' approach to sustainability through the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
Open to public
The event on 10th July (6.30pm) will be open to the public and will see the band perform in the Welsh Parliament's event space that overlooks Cardiff Bay, which can accommodate 140 guests.
It is being sponsored by Julie Morgan, Member of the Senedd for Cardiff North, will feature a short programme of music as well as well as interviews with participants and funders of the exchange.
It is hoped that the event will also offer the Welsh banding movement the opportunity to speak directly with leading political figures to push forward the need for the funding of a strong, representative banding body for the nation4BR
