Dave Houghton of Doodles Mouthpiece Replating is looking forward to showcasing his services at the forthcoming North West Regional Championships in Blackpool.

Dave has been kept busy over the New Year working on mouthpieces for players — many keen to get things in working order for the Regional Championships challenges ahead over the next month.

Brilliant work

They have included two mouthpieces for rising soprano and trumpet star Carys Wood, who recently won the 'Best Soloist' and '4BR Best Soprano' awards at the recent Welsh Open Entertainment Contest in Newport who said Dave had done some "brilliant work"for her.

Now Dave will be heading to the Winter Gardens on Sunday for the North West Area, and told 4BR: "The response to my work from players has been great — and especially when I get to find out that they have gone on to win high profile awards like Carys.

Hopefully we can do more of the same for lots more players over the next few weeks."
