Pemberton Solo & Ensemble Contest returns

There is a welcome return for the popular contest with the hope that it will attract lots of entries.

The Pemberton Band has announced that its popular solo and ensemble contest will return on Saturday 5th April.

The band is now hoping that players of all levels will come along and take part in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere at the Pemberton Band Room (WN5 8DZ).

The event is being adjudicated by Sheona White and the day will conclude with a special Gala Concert at 7.30pmfeaturing Pemberton Old Wigan DW A Band with Sheona as the guest soloist.

There are generous prizes on offer, including from Foden's Band and The Music Cellar.

12 and Under
16 and Under
Open Solo
Open Ensemble

Open to all brass band instruments. Accompanists allowed for soloists

Entry Fee: £5 per contestant
Gala Concert Tickets: £10
