2025 RNCM International Brass Band Festival: Interview with Mark Bousie

We talk to Mark Bousie who will be leading the talented students of the Junior RNCM Brass Band in an ambitious programme — including two world premieres on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday afternoon at 4.45pm sees the appearance of the talented young performers of the Junior RNCM Brass Band conducted by Mark Bousie (centre).

Ambitious programme

Theirs is certainly an ambitious programme with two world premieres from the pens of young composers Tamsin Crook and Amber Hooton, as well as a cracking fleetfooted march from Paul Drury and a brace of classic Elgar Howarth entertainment gems.

It all rounded off with the glorious sounds of Edward Gregson's 'Variations in Laudate Dominum'.

Banks Brass Band
