BrookWright Music: Fanfare for the Future (Robbert Vos)

Look to the future with a balance of excitement of lyricism from the pen of Robbert Vos.

BrookWright
The work has been written by Dutch euphonium star Robbert Vos

'Fanfare for the Future' is a stirring, optimistic work celebrating the exciting possibilities that lie ahead by Dutch composer and euphonium virtuoso, Robbert Vos.

Colourfully scored to integrate brass and percussion it features two contrasting themes: the exciting fanfare balanced by a hymnal-like melody.

Challenges and dreams

The composer states: "Written during Covid, the fanfare represents the challenges and obstacles that we face in the world, while the hymn represents our hopes and dreams for the future.

The two themes come together in a grand finale, which represents our determination to overcome the challenges of the present and build a better future for ourselves and for generations to come."
