Community outreach
Speaking to 4BR spokesperson Cpl Gram Mitchell said: "This is an important part of our community outreach as we bring the sounds of the British Army Band Catterick to the heart of Yorkshire."
Supported by Besson, the concert includes a mix of solemn, exciting and jubilant pieces, allowing for moments of contemplation as well as exuberance and laughter — all reflective of the nature of Christmas.
Cpl Mitchell added: "We promise it will be a celebration of Army music and communities joining together through the power of music, to get us all in the mood for a very merry Christmas."
Christmas spirit
4BR was informed that there will be music from shows such as 'Wicked' and 'Polar Express' to 'Crimbledance' and 'Gaudete' whilst the band's star soloists will also be featured with the chance also for the audience to join in community singing before the rousing 'Christmas Finale'.
