The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama has announced an exciting list of musical attractions and concerts over the coming months — each with a brass link or two.
Love, spit and valve oil
It starts this Friday with a 'Brassy Jazz' lunch time interlude with trumpet player Steve Waterman, whilst on Thursday 15th February the college welcomes Ivor Novello award winning composer Martin Green for a performance with the RWCM&D Brass Band of 'Love, Spit and Valve Oil'.
Award winning percussionist Colin Currie will be in concert later in the month with the RWCM&D Brass Band celebrating St David's Day with a special concert on 1st March.
Solo recitals
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Trumpet player Mathew Williams gives a solo recital in early March with the RWCM&D Big Band 'misbehavin' later in the month.
