BBE Conference venue announced

The 2024 Brass Bands England Conference will be held at London's China Exchange.

BBE
The Conference offers a full day of activities, discussions and networking opportunities

Brass Bands England has announced the venue for its 2024 Brass Band Conference.

Entitled, 'Creative Communities' it will be held at London's China Exchange on Saturday 19th October.

Located in Central London's Chinatown, the China Exchange is housed in the iconic BT Telephone Exchange which describes itself as a home for "ideas, discussion and creative expression."

Creative Communities

Speaking about the announcement, BBE's Chief Operating Officer, Sarah Baumann, said: "The conference will follow the theme of 'Creative Communities', so it was important to us that we found a venue that reflected this.

The China Exchange's location in the heart of the West End perfectly reflects that in helping to showcase the importance of bands within the fabric of their local and wider communities."

Sarah added: "We're delighted that after a number of years in the North we are bringing our conference day closer to our Southern members. We hope to see lots of new and familiar faces there for a fantastic day of learning and networking."

Booking

Booking will open in early 2024 when each BBE Member Band will be entitled to claim one free ticket. Additional tickets will be priced at £20 for BBE members, £50 for non-members and free for Under 23s. Individuals are asked to save the date in their diary now.
