BBE to help bands go green to raise reddies

Brass Bands England will help bands boosts their incomes with a new webinar on sustainable fundraising.

BBE Green
The webinar aims to help bands fund raise in a sustainable way

Brass Bands England's (BBE) help to assist band in their funding support work continues this week with a new webinar on the topic of sustainable fundraising.

It will be delivered online by BBE Fundraising Manager Beth Currie, on Tuesday 18th July at 7.00pm.

Financial stability

Beth will explore how brass bands can become more environmentally conscious in fundraising projects. She will also explore why this is important, and how an eco-approach can ultimately lead to greater financial stability for banding organisations.

It will be delivered online by BBE Fundraising Manager Beth Currie, on Tuesday 18th July at 7.00pm4BR

Eco-credentials

Speaking about the presentation Beth said: "Donors, funders and cultural audiences are concerned about the climate crises and expect you to be too. So, how can bands promote their eco-credentials whilst also raising funds?

That's what we'll be focusing on in this webinar."

For those looking at potential funding from Arts Council England (ACE), the event will also look at ACE's 'Environmental Responsibility' Investment Principle and how you can address it in your funding applications.

Webinar

This live webinar is free for BBE Members and £10 for Non-Members.
