Speaking about the appointment, Tredegar MD, Ian Porthouse said: "Our thanks go to Ross who has been a wonderful player who we all wish the very best.
This though is the culmination of Jack's progress since he joined in 2018. He has worked exceptionally hard in becoming an integral part of the band, gaining invaluable experience and enabling his playing talent to flourish. I'm delighted that the role is now his and I know he is determined to make his mark."
