The traditional sounds of brass band concerts in public parks will be heard in force this Summer in the 32 parks across Leeds and the surrounding area.
Bands will join with other musical genres to give over 100 free performances every Sunday until the end of September from 2.30pm.
Diverse programme
Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council's executive member for economy, culture and education told 4BR: "It's exciting to know such a talented and diverse programme of musical acts will be performing for the people of Leeds again this summer.
Music is a wonderful way to animate our beautiful parks and green spaces and, as we celebrate our Leeds 2023 year of culture, these events will create a fabulous atmosphere across local communities."
Afternoon music making
Parks include Dartmouth, Farnley Hall, Middleton, Roundhay and Pudsey to West Park, Wetherby with plenty of other stops to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of music making from local bands.
