The Hammonds Band will be joining a line-up of competitors with even more honours to their names than those they will face at the British Open Championship in Symphony Hall when they perform at this year's 'Soccer Aid for UNICEF' at Old Trafford on Sunday 11th June.
Star players
The band will be playing the intros for the stars from sport, pop and television such as Euro 2022 winner Jill Scott, Olympic champions Sir Mo Farah and Usain Bolt, Paul Scholes, Roberto Carlos, Karen Carney, Lee Mack, Francesco Totti and Jermain Defoe as well as the management teams led by the likes of Harry Redknapp, Stormzy and Mauricio Pochettino.
French Open
It's the latest high-profile outing for the Yorkshire band which also sees them travel to Amboise next month to take part in the French Open Championship and headline the Gala Concert.
