Music where their mouthpieces are for Wardle

Denis Wick Products help the musical development of the Wardle Academy Bands with their latest generous donations of mouthpieces.

Wardle
Plenty of young players will benefit from the new mouthpieces

The young players of the family of Wardle Academy Bands will get to play on Denis Wick mouthpieces thanks to a generous donation from the leading manufacturer.

It follows the company's donation of high-quality ex-demonstration mouthpieces to the Elland Youth Band organisation and will see the youngsters able to develop their playing skills on the same mouthpieces as used by many of the world's finest brass stars.

Ensembles

Denis Wick's Marketing Lead, Dr Brett Baker recently popped into the school to see the various ensembles at work — from the Wardle Academy Youth Band and Intermediate Band to its Training Band, Wind Band and Junior Blast ensemble.

A spokesperson for Wardle Academy told 4BR: "We are extremely grateful to Brett Baker and all at Denis Wick for this generous donation.

With such high numbers of players within the organisation, donations like these are the lifeline to ensure that this continues. As you can imagine, everyone is excited about playing on the brilliant mouthpieces."

European Championships

Wardle Youth Band is currently working towards their sixth appearance at the European Championships — hoping to add to their remarkable record of success.

In response, Brett Baker added: "We are proud to help support the next generation of exceptional players and wish the band every success at the European Championships."
