Barnsley Brass has announced the appointment of Ben Brickles as their new Musical Director.

A former principal cornet player of Kirton Brass, he studied music performance at University of Huddersfield where under the guidance of Philip McCann he explored conducting and was appointed Musical Director Friezland Brass.

Ben is also principal cornet Old Silkstone and will combine this with his new role at Barnsley Brass who stated they were excited to see what the future holds under his instruction and guidance.
