Abbey look forward to showing off

Abbey Brass is looking forward to showcasing some firsts at their forthcoming concert

Abbey Brass, the recently formed brass band organisation on the Isle of Wight will be celebrating a brace of 'firsts' at its forthcoming concert in Wootton.

Formed in 2021 the band now boasts 25 players and will sport their new set of black and gold uniforms under MD, Phillip Littlemore at Wootton Methodist Church on Wednesday April 19th (7.30pm), as well as featuring several new arrangements by Philip for the event.

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "The band is really looking forward to the concert and showing off our uniforms for the first time.

We have been working hard in rehearsals since Phillip took over and he has put together a varied programme which we are sure the audience will enjoy."
