Members of the City of Bradford and BD1 Bands recently teamed up with the wonderful Punjabi Roots Academy to perform the Bhangra hot 'Moorni' for the visit of King Charles III to Bradford.
It proved to be a fantastic collaboration of musical styles that certainly put a smile on the faces of the crowds gathered to see the visit, as well as the King himself.
Fun
Writing on the band's Facebook site a spokesperson said: "I don't think anyone in the room had a clue how it would sound, but I think the beaming smiles around a minute in say everything — such a fun collaboration!"
They later added that it had been "a great honour" to team up with Punjabi Roots Academy for the new Bhangra arrangements.
