Getzen trombone artist Peter Moore will visit Belfast this Friday (28th October) to perform in an unusual trio that stands comparison with the best small classical chamber music ensembles in the UK.
Northern Lights
To mark the opening of the Northern Lights Mini-Fest, the Belfast Music Society will bring together Belfast-born musicians, Peter Moore, principal trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra and pianist Michael McHale, alongside mezzo-soprano, Anna Huntley.
Featuring clever arrangements of Frank Bridge's 'Viola Songs', Schumann and Schubert alongside classics from the Great American Songbook, it promises to be an evening not to be missed.
The concert takes place in The Harty Room at Queen's University, Belfast at 7.30pm. For more information, contact: info@belfastmusicsociety.org
