Brass Bands England has reflected on the success of its recent hybrid annual conference.
The in-person event was held in Sale last weekend, whilst interested parties could view the presentations and awards through an on-line broadcast by brasspass.tv
Banding for Life
The conference theme was 'Banding for Life' — one taken up by keynote speaker Ian Bousfield. Another highlight was the presentation of the Brass Bands England Awards 2022.
Throughout the day, Brass Bands England gave several updates and announcements including a new Members Working Group for the sector and continued #BrassBandsAtChristmas Crowdfunder campaign, both currently open for individuals and bands to participate in.
BBE told 4BR that 100% of delegates who completed the feedback survey said that they went away with specific ideas and actions they will take to their bands.
