Lead
The Artistic Director will be Cory MD Philip Harper, supported by tutors Mark Wilkinson, Tom Hutchinson, Sheona White, Christopher Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Les Neish, and Mark Landon.
4BR was informed that the Symposium course will cover six days of intensive study centred on high level technically and musically challenging works from leading composers for the medium.
It will take place from Monday 23rd October 2023 until Saturday 28th October with a final performance at Routh Hall at Bromsgrove School which will be recorded by World of Brass.
Substantial works
Course Director, Carole Crompton told 4BR: "After our successful Elgar International Brass Band Summer School this year we felt the time was right to initiate a further residential course that concentrated on substantial works for brass band led by world renown experts.
It is a course that will be demanding and challenging, but one that we feel will be of huge benefit for performers who are equally ambitious in their musical outlook."
