Prima Vista will issue new editions to competing bands

Prima Vista Musikk has announced that it will provide new editions for competing bands of the 2023 Regional test-pieces, 'A Day in the Life of a Knight' and 'The Pilgrim's Progress'.

Due to an error in production some sets of the works contained parts from previous editions.

Apology

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We apologise unreservedly to bands that have purchased editions that are incorrect. We will send a brand new set free of charge to any band affected in this way."

The older version is identified as follows:

'Pilgrim's Progress': Bar 90, where the title of Var. 2 is given, a typo has been corrected. In the old edition, 'Loses' was misspelt 'Looses'.

The old edition will read: 'Var. 2 — Christian Looses His Burden at the Cross'.

'A Day in the Life of a Knight': From bar 120 through to bar 144, the flugel and horn lines are missing in the old edition. These have been reinstated in the new edition.
