World of Brass will certainly be busy at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
Not only will the recording company be exhibiting its extensive range of music and CDs at it trade stand in the foyer of Door 6, but they will also be recording all 20 performances of Peter Graham's 'Hyperlink' test-piece so that listeners across the world can enjoy them again once the results have been announced.
Mead latest
New releases will be on show too — with the latest from Steven Mead, Isobel Daws, Phil Cobb and Black Dyke as well as many more.
Steven's new release is entitled, 'Omaggio' and sees hm perform three major concertos from Philip Sparke, Philip Harper and Peter Graham.
Daws and Cobb
The eagerly awaited debut release from trombone star Isobel Daws features diverse works from the likes of Saskia Apon and Brian Lynn to Edward Elgar and Robert Schumann.
Philip Cobb meanwhile displays his lyrical talents on a series of wonderful Salvationist works from the pens of the likes of William Himes and Joy Webb to Ernst Rance and Leslie Condon.
Black Dyke
Black Dyke meanwhile complete their major series of Edward Gregson recordings with a seventh volume that also sees David Childs perform his immense 'Euphonium Concerto', and Jonathan Scott perform his youthful 'Concertante for Piano and Brass Band' in addition to his latest major test-piece, 'The World Rejoicing'.
Poole of talent
The talents of Foden's star soprano player Richard Poole can be enjoyed with his eclectic selection of sparkling repertoire on his release, 'The Impossible Dream' whilst if you are already looking forward to 2023, why not get your hands on the Regional CD.
