Preparations are being finalised for the arrival of delegates from across the banding world for the International Brass Band Summer School at Swansea University at the end of July.
There are still a few places available for IBBSS 2022, but as course administrator Alison Childs told 4BR, people better be quick.
"The return following the Covid-19 break has seen an incredible amount of interest and take-up for the course. We are working every day to make sure everything will be just right for the return of the banding world's biggest and best brass band summer school course!"
Swansea University
The course takes place at the new Swansea University Bay Campus from 31st July to 6th August, with its outstanding facilities on hand to all delegates as they enjoy making music and having plenty of fun under the team led by Black Dyke Director of Music, Prof Nicholas Childs and his outstanding line-up of tutors.
He told 4BR: "I'm particularly delighted to welcome new faces, but its so heartening to say hello once more to those who return year after year.
We have so much to offer with incredible tutors, superb music, tailored skills teaching and loads of fun extras."
