Popular contests return to calendar in Yorkshire and Leicestershire

Contests run by the Yorkshire & Humberside and Leicestershire Brass Band Associations return later this year.

The return to contesting following the recent two years Covid-19 gathers pace with news that two long standing competitions will once again take place later this year.

Yorkshire & Humberside

The Yorkshire & Humberside Association Contest will take place on Sunday 23rd October at Dewsbury Town Hall. It will be open to bands in all section Championship to Fourth.

Leicestershire Open

Meanwhile the Leicestershire Brass Band Association 'Open' contest will take place on Sunday 20th November.

There are contests from Championship to Fourth Section and will be held at Loughborough Endowed Schools in Loughborough in Leicestershire.
