At 11 o'clock this morning — Sunday 8th November, communities across the United Kingdom will mark the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
The services will be very different this year, but the sentiment and honour remains the same.
A number of bands have also marked the occasion by releasing their own personal tributes and we hope everyone takes the opportunity this morning to pay their own personal respects in the way they feel fit.

4BR has linked to a pre-recorded video service that would have been provided in Sandbach, provided by Roberts Bakery Band, with Lions Youth Brass, the Reverend Rachael Griffiths and Kevin Birch, organist and Choirmaster of St. Mary's Church to enable people to do this from their own homes.
