Kapitol Promotions has released a provisional date for the hosting of the 2021 Sections 1-4 National Finals, dependent on the long term nature of Government regulatory guidance and rules that may be imposed in future in regards to large scale events.
18th & 19th September
As a result, the First, Second, Third and Fourth Section National Finals have been provisionally inked in to be held over the weekend of Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th September at The Centaur facility at Cheltenham Racecourse.
The Fourth and First Sections will take place on the Saturday, with the Third and Second Sections the following day.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 Finals due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Kapitol Promotions has since invited the 2020 qualifiers to compete at the 2021 event.

SECTION 1: Connotations (Edward Gregson)
SECTION 2: Lions of Legends (Thierry Deleruyelle)
SECTION 3: Kaleidoscope (Philip Sparke)
SECTION 4: An Elgar Portrait (Dan Price)
However, it is hoped that in 10 months time the Sections 1-4 Finals can go ahead as "normally" as possible in a COVID-safe environmentKapitol Promotions

In issuing their statement, Kapitol Promotions said: "We cannot guarantee that this event will go ahead as planned due to the ever-changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, it is hoped that in 10 months time the Sections 1-4 Finals can go ahead as "normally" as possible in a COVID-safe environment, and that all competing bands and the general public can come together at Cheltenham Racecourse for a special celebratory weekend of brass band contesting.
Official invitations will be sent to all competing bands in spring 2021. Further details will be released in due course.
