A virtual concert performed by the Cobalt Brass quintet has helped to raise over £1,900 for the mental health charity 'Mind'.
The event took place on World Mental Health Day on 10th October and helped increase awareness for the need for investment and understanding of mental health education, advocacy and understanding.
Thrilled
Spokesperson Jack Rowlands told 4BR: "We were thrilled by the response and the money has already made its way to the charity so that it can be put to essential use to help break down some of the stigmas about the subject, and to also help those who are in direct need of their support."
The concert included music from Cobalt Brass, as well as some of Manchester's most exciting up and coming artists, the Chameleon wind quartet, singer/songwriter Danny Addison, and bass guitar and vocal duo Oystercatcher.
